About Me

My photo
I passionate about photography and travel. There are two types of photographs that I enjoy. 1. The type that you take and may only need some tweaks such as exposure or saturation. 2. The type that contains more post-processing work done to it so at the end it’s more of an abstract work of art. This blog is a documentation of both along with some travel experiences. You will be able to see more of my photography at www.dianadominguezphotography and at www.ddfoto.etsy.com

Ready to hang Wall Art/Photography

I recently decided to do something different with my photography. I started to adhere photos to different size wooden cradle boxes, painting the sides black or white and coating the top of the print with several coats of varnish. See the photos with this post. The example here is a photograph I took in Savannah, Georgia of a replica of the famous statue on the cover of the book, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". Turns out that the statue which was originally in a cemetary was removed and placed in a house museum due to too many people visiting the statue/grave and disrespecting the grave site.
